Sharing this journey of getting healthy and also getting ready for the book premier event publicly has actually given me so much extra support. I thank all of you that have commented on my blog, Facebook page and in emails. I knew I was not alone with the struggle with my weight, but I was pleasantly surprised by the personal stories shared with me. May we all be successful in getting healthy!
Today was day 5 of my workout with my trainers from Double Eagle Fitness in Novato. Each time it seems to get harder, yet I notice I can do more each time. They come 2 times a week and I supplement my exercise program with walking and working out on my own. I must admit, I don't get excited yet to exercise. I am so grateful for Beqir and Samantha who push me but also acknowledge the hard work and changes that occur. Today I went for my first run. Ok, it was a trot at first and then it turned into a power walk. Next time I will be faster. That was followed by a session with the rope, core work and stretching.
Today I go to get fitted for undergarments for my dress for the book premier. All of my clothes are getting too big for me! I don't want to buy much since I plan on continuing even after this event with my exercise. The healthy eating and exercise has me feeling better, I have more energy and I wake up refreshed.
