On our second day in Panajachel my friend and I met two beautiful Cachikel Mayan young women. Their names were Carmen and Elena. They were young teenagers. They had a beautiful spirit that shone from deep within. Their job in their family was to sell the clothes that the family prepared. Every morning the girls would bundle up the clothes and carry them on their head down the mountain to the town, where they would carefully lay them out for people to see and purchase.
