You Never Know How You Will Meet

I am so excited that there is a new member on my team this week! She is amazing, like minded, spiritual, smart and I could go on and on. She is going to be doing all of the pieces of this company that drive me crazy! I felt a huge weight lift off me this week as I dumped my entire desk top, admin files and tons of odds and ends into the new drop box we share. I said please fix and handle this. It is a mess. Then I could breathe again. I don't need to tell her how or what I want, she gets me and knows what to do. In fact she sometimes gets the direction of where I am going faster than I do.

You would assume that as alike and close that we are, that we have been friends for years. That is not the case. I remember doing one of my free coaching calls with her a while back. Then at the end of April she signed up to talk to me again. This time we realized that we were meant to be playmates. We had so much in common. Her name is Patti and she lives in Nashville, TN and I have never met her in person. Yet she knows me better than some of my friends I see on a regular basis.

We were able to achieve this by being authentic, vulnerable and trusting each other right away. So we decided in April to support each other in our different projects, check in with each other and now and then have a play date call where we would just chat. That morphed into a continuous inbox chat through each day. Checking in, supporting and yes, playing with the Facebook stickers! I just noticed yesterday that we had over 5,000 messages in our chat!

Patti has been by my side as I have been creating my new project with my other team mates. Cheering me on when I need it, brainstorming with me when I get stuck and playing with me to keep me going. At the beginning of this week I was very stressed out. I wanted to work on the writing and creative parts of this venture and I kept having to do admin and boring stuff that hurts my head and sucks my joy. So that night as I said my gratitudes and set my intentions for the next day, I did something different. I told the angels I was needing help.  If I could wake up in the morning and find someone ready to take all of that stuff off my hands it would allow me to do what I need to do to follow my purpose.

The next morning Patti offered to join the team and be my right hand person. I told her about what happened the night before. It was indeed divinely guided. I am telling you this story to remind you to be grateful for what you have even if it is not exactly right. Remember to set your intentions of what you do want to attract.

Here is the weird part, she was going through her files and found a quote I had posted on December 16, 2011. She collects quotes that talk to her. So two and half years ago we were connecting and did not even know it! Being open to meeting new people in unexpected ways can really turn out to be huge blessings. In fact my entire team is made up of like minded, spiritual, kind people from all over the world who I met in different ways. I believe we were guided together to create this project.

It has been such an exciting journey of discovery, friendships and support. The internet has made the world such a smaller place and we have opportunities to connect with so many people in different places.  Here is the quote that she found in her files the other night.
